Shawn’s Chicken (also known as Yongshun Fried Chicken) is a well-known specialty snack started in Beijing, China in the 1990s. The fried chicken is marinated with more than 20 different Chinese herbs to remove the smell of meat, enhance the flavor, and add extra moisture before deep frying. The unique cooking method makes the meat golden in color, fresh, juicy, crispy, and tender.
